Bus-bar Type Manganin Shunt

Bus-bar type manganin shunts have extremely low resistance value while suffering heavy electric current and high pulse power. We can make stamp plate by manganin 6J12 or 6J13, which are the most popular model in China. By high-speed precision stamping process, we can get pure manganin shunt or EBW (electron beam welding) shunt plate, both can serve as final resistors or semi-products integrated with latching relays, for which further welding process is required. We can manufacture EBW shunt resistors, which have advantage on price, as only a small fraction of expensive manganin is consumed. According to different welding technicals, we can also braze welded shunts with copper lugs, or spot welded shunts with primary wires or brass terminals.

As a type of Manganese alloy based on the technology of bimetal, our high sensitivity shunt resistors serve as current sensors in electronic devices, such as cordless power tools, electric bicycles, ammeters, KWH meters for AC or DC circuits. For AC measument, the bus-bar manganin shunts can be replaced by mini current transformers, which provide good galvanic separation but higher price.

In some circumstances, only the connection conductor is required, we can provide U-shape neutral busbar or current bar made of pure copper, and stamping plate made of manganin. Stamped parts are available as semi-products. We can manufacture these customized parts of complicated structures by high-speed stamping machines and provide samples within a couple of days.
