Fe-based Nanocrystalline Core
Comparing with permalloy or cobalt-based alloy, Fe-based nanocrystalline has the advantage of low price. The typical model is 1k107 which is based on an amorphous material formed by a rapid solidification process of an alloy composed of a small amount of Nb(Niobium), Cu(Copper), Si(Silicon), and B(Boron) elements. After heat treatment, extremely small crystals with a diameter of 10-20 nm can be obtained and dispersed on an amorphous matrix, which is called nanocrystalline or nano crystalline material. At the same time, it has high permeability and low hysteresis loss, especially under medium-high frequency.
So, the nanocrystalline core is very suitable for miniature current transformers, inverters, or EMC common mode chokes for wide-range frequency. We can provide iron-based nanocrystalline cores with steel cases, plastic cases (with or without base and rib), tape wrapping, or epoxy resin coating. Customized nanocrystalline cores are also available, and we can make samples within a couple of days, due to our quick prototype development technical.
