Our precision shunt resistors have the temperature coefficient as low as 20ppm and resistance tolerance less than 1%, while the resistance value is usually less than 0.001 ohm. We can design customized manganin shunt of complicated structures and provide samples within a couple of days. Due to our high-speed stamping machines, we can achieve on-time delivery for large-scale production.
Our precision manganin shunt resistor is the key component for electric current measuring, battery sensing and so on. Manganin is kind of copper-manganese-nickel (CuMnNi) alloy for use at room temperature. The bimetal alloy is characterized by very low thermal electromotive force (emf) compared to copper. Because of its moderate price and low TCR value, 6J13 manganin is the model most widely used in China. We can make the resistance tolerance as low as 1% and temperature coefficient less than 20ppm, while the resistance value is usually less than 1000 micro ohm or 0.001 Ohm. As the resistance is extremely low, our manganin shunts have very low power loss, usually less than 50mW.
